Current Conditions and Planning

This season’s up-to-date snow survey from the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles indicates that we are experiencing a mild winter so far, but there is still plenty of winter ahead. Based on current information, I predict that water flows will remain stable into the spring, which is excellent news for all of us who love trout fishing in the winter. We just pray to find ourselves enjoying an average snowpack by April. But if we get handed a lemon, we have learned to make lemonade.
